After introducing Rock Choir officially to the public in 2005, Caroline was offered a four-album record deal with Universal. She has also featured on the ‘Together’ album by Blake, the classical-pop crossover artists, and The Soldiers Coming Home album, which reached double platinum status. Her duet Against All Odds was officially the most downloaded song on The Soldiers album. Caroline’s distinctive vocals can be heard on over a million records released in the UK, and she has gained four gold and platinum certified sales awards from the British Phonographic Industry.
A singer and musician, Caroline started performing professionally at the age of fifteen whilst studying for a classical music scholarship on piano and violin. After gaining a B.A. (Hons) degree in Popular Music & Recording at Salford University, she performed in London as a pianist and singer to VIPs and celebrities in Mayfair, Knightsbridge and Kensington. In 2000 she became a teacher of Performing Arts and Music. It was during her five years’ experience as a teacher educating A-level students when she began to introduce her concept of an inclusive and accessible contemporary choir.
Singer and musician – Caroline founded Rock Choir in 2005 and through her musicianship, creativity and inspirational leadership has developed it into the largest and most popular contemporary choir in the world with more than 24,000 members taking part each week. Her voice leads the thousands of members taking part in Rock Choir across the country who sing her unique vocal creations each week.

In 2011 Caroline was recognised by the BPI (British Phonographic Industry) as contributing her voice towards over a million album sales. She appears as a soloist on The Soldiers massive selling, double platinum album, ‘Coming Home’ which helped to raise over half a million pounds for charity. She was invited to sing again on their third album, Letters Home and contributed her recording fees to Help for Heroes. She was also invited to solo with the hugely popular classical vocal quartet Blake on their album ‘Together’.
Rock Choir Deluxe continued what Rock Choir Vol.1 had started and featured 7 additional new tracks. These tracks made up some of the musical content on ITV1s high-profile documentary The Choir That Rocks. Mr Blue Sky was a favourite track and also the Teen Rock Choir version of You got the Love featuring the outstanding Rachel OBrien. Rock Choir Deluxe also features an incredibly emotional live recording of Labi Siffres Something Inside so Strong sung live at Wembley Arena by 7,500 Rock Choir members with Caroline taking lead vocal and a portion of the proceeds going womens charity Refuge.
When Sony and Decca were looking for tracks for the uplifting double album compilation Perfect Day the Rock Choir track Something Inside so Strong was ideal, further endorsing just how good Rock Choir Vol.1 from which it was taken, had been. Caroline and Rock Choir took their place on this album alongside acts such as Eva Cassidy, Russell Watson and Sting.
When first released, Rock Choir Vol.1 broke records and pushed the boundaries of what a choir could achieve. On the 1st day of release, it zoomed up to a chart position of No.1 in five different Amazon charts and was responsible for giving Rock Choir its second Guinness World Record as the Biggest Hit Act in the UK

The link between The Soldiers, Rock Choir and Caroline has never been stronger than on the latest offering from the original and largest-selling army pop group of all time. In a testiment to their professional skills, 10 Rock Choir leaders were asked to provide the choral backing for track 2 – Mike Rutherfords In the Living Years with Mike himself on lead guitar.
A moving version of Rock Choir favourite and Robin Gibbs favourite Bee Gees song How Deep is your love is featured in his memory and celebration of the work he did with the Soldiers.
Caroline and Sergent Gary Chiltern finish the 16 song album, slowing up the tempo with a gorgeous version of Songbird originally by Fleetwood Mac.
Following her contribution to the success of the first Soldiers album Coming Home and the UK national tour with The Soldiers, Caroline was asked to contribute her vocal skills again on the Special Edition exclusive Tesco release of the third Soldiers album Message to You. She sang the wonderful classic Wherever I lay my hat… as a duet with Corporal Ryan Idzi.
The album, which reached gold status selling over 100,000 copies, also featured the official Poppy Appeal single for 2011 with Robin Gibb, with a proportion of the proceeds going to the British Legion. Caroline also contributed her recording fee to the appeal.
With the incredible success of The Soldiers it was only fitting that Warner Music chose to release the The Soldiers Best Of featuring the most popular tracks from the first 2 albums and also Carolines duet Against all Odds which was selected for the album.
Carolines duet, Unsung Hero, also features on the Special Edition of Blakes 3rd Album Together which included 3 brand new tracks including Beautiful Earth the anthem for Earth Hour UK 2010.
Carolines distinctive vocals could be heard again in the soulful duet Against All Odds, featured on this 2010 album from The Soldiers. Released just before Valentines Day, the collection of romantic classics incuding Hero and Fields of Gold raised nearly £90,000 for the charity Help for Heroes.
Unsung Hero was released as the single from the album Together to rave reviews, radio play and members of the public clamouring to know more about the girls voice. A wonderful and unexpected accolade.
Blakes album Together featured the original track Unsung Hero written by Denise Rich (who also wrote Celine Dions My Heart will go on). Caroline was thrilled to be asked to sing on this track on their 3rd album. A favourite track choice for radio, Caroline helped contribute to the success of this album and enjoyed working with the boys.
Coming Home by The Soldiers was one of the biggest selling albums of 2009, reaching sales of over 600,000 copies and the almost mythical status of Double Platinum. Simply thrilled just to play her part in the success, Caroline featured on the duet Against all Odds, which eventually went on to become the most downloaded track from this unprecedented album and earned Caroline a place onstage at the Royal Albert Hall soloing during the Coming Home tour.
